IT hub of Chennai will most likely go silent!

In the wake of Indian Prime minister and Chinese President visit to Chennai, it is most likely that the IT companies in Chennai's OMR and ECR road will go silent as the companies have advised its employees to work from home as it has been expected that Chennai traffic might witness a huge hit as most of the roads that connects OMR and ECR have been brought under tight surveillance ahead of escorting Chinese President Xi Jinping from Chennai to Mamallapuram.

As part of gripping the security knot, the Chennai city traffic police department had announced major diversions and detours in the city's roads as the regular riders, commuters and passersby were been informed prior on the available detours to reach their respective destination by not using the regular routes of OMR and ECR which have been reserved to transport the Chinese leader. The city's authorities had suspended the transport of heavy vehicles into the city for the next two days as they had been directed to take the bypass rather wheeling inside the city.

With the conformity that the Chinese leader will be escorted through OMR and ECR to reach Mamallapuram, most of the reputed IT companies that rests in OMR, one of the biggest IT hubs in Chennai had instructed its employees to arrive at the office early before the roads have been blocked while some of the IT companies had asked its employees to work from home by citing the nonavailability and limited supply of food and by expecting huge traffic jams. Speaking about the notion of the IT companies, one of the employees had revealed that the companies which lies in the radius of IT hub from Tidel Park to Shollinganallur had instructed its employees to come early in morning hours and they can leave the office by afternoon.

The Chennai city police commissioner Viswanathan had today written to the Principal sessions justice of the city's civil court for acquiring judicial consent to postpone the hearings for the next two days as most of the police personnel will be deployed to escort the visiting leader and the delegation and further indicated that the possibles of producing prisoners from Central prison to the court is less likely without the security. On the other hand, the state government has issued notice to ban the fishing in and around Mamallapuram for the next four days that would be applicable for about 44 fishermen villages that rests in the coastal areas where these areas had already been brought under tight surveillance and last month, the government has also ordered the ban for surfers and surfing schools in Mamallapuram and Covelong beaches.

The reports say that the Prime minister will arrive in Chennai tomorrow morning ahead of Chinese President and will be welcomed by the state Chief minister and cabinet ministers following which the Chinese President Xi Jinping will be wheeling down around 1.30 pm at Chennai airport after which he will be escorted to ITC Grand Chola hotel in Guindy. The reports had stated that around 4 pm, he will be transported to Mamallapuram from Guindy through OMR and ECR roads where he will travel about 50 kilometers on road to reach Mamallapuram from where he would be greeted by Indian Prime minister Narendra Modi and later that evening, both leaders will go for short tour in Mamallapuram after which Modi will host dinner for Chinese leader and his delegation.

On Saturday, both leaders will table their second informal meet where they will discuss the entire gamut of the bilateral relations observed by the two nations and it has been expected that they will carpet the proposals to enhance the ties and after the conclusion of the summit, Modi will host Xi Jinping for lunch following which the Chinese leader will embark his plane and fly back to China.
