Thrilled by the phenomenal success, the movie team of Vikram has been in seventh heaven as the cast and crew celebrate the blockbuster hit of the movie commercially with a good weightage of the story. The movie team organized a success meet on Friday during which the team opened up about their venture and took part in a special feast.

Bankrolled by Raaj Kamal International Films, Vikram is starred by Kamal Haasan, Vijay Sethupathi, and Fahadh Faasil. The movie has been drumming in the theatres in five languages worldwide since June 3. Vikram is helmed by Lokesh Kanagaraj while the music is composed by Anirudh. The movie has a glorious run beyond the borders as it has grossed $1.6 million - Rs 12 crore in three days in the United States.

Notably, Vikram has emerged as the highest-grossing Tamil film in the last two years. To celebrate this humongous box office collection, the movie team has organized the success meet on Friday - June 17 at Madras Race Club, Guindy. The event had the attendance of Kamal Haasan, Lokesh Kanagaraj, Anirudh, Udhayanidhi Stalin, and film financier Anbuchezhiyan.

The team has arranged a special multi-cuisine feast with Briyani and visuals of the feast went viral on social media. Speaking at the success meet, Kamal Haasan has thanked Udhayanidhi Stalin and producer Mahendran for the successful release. Extending his gratitude to everyone involved, the legendary actor said, "This is the only film I have been able to release in ten years without any troubles. It was possible because of Mahendran and Udhayanidhi Stalin."

He said, "People making topics about gifting the car and watch. But the real reward is that working people giving a sum from their wages." He also remembered his earlier acting career hood with director Balachander, who put him in front of the camera. "There is no language difference in the art world. The people of Tamil Nadu are celebrating me beyond my ability. We will never give up on the good movies. Our thanks and pride are indescribable to the people", Kamal Haasan added.

On the other hand, Udhayanidhi Stalin's speech, where he apparently shared the box office collection, has been going viral. The actor-politician said, "I was the first one to watch the movie even before its release. After the interval block, I was mind-blown because Tamil cinema has never seen such an interval block. After the movie, I was sure it will be a hit. However, to be honest, I never expected it to become such a big hit."

He further said, "Anirudh was telling me that for the next film, instead of getting remuneration, I should get an area's distribution rights. As far as the collection goes, the share of Red Giant movies in Tamil Nadu alone has crossed Rs 75 crore. No film holds such a record." It has been estimated that Vikram will continue to rake in money in the forthcoming weeks. The movie has already crossed Rs 300 crore at the box office.
