Ajith's next Thunivu is being baked to hit the screens during Pongal 2023. Two months ahead of the release, the movie team is preparing to serve a treat for the fans by releasing the movie's first single and the ardent fans of Ajith are elated to the core.

Thunivu's music composer Ghibran had recently informed that the song titled Chilla Chilla has been sung by Anirudh Ravichander with lyrics penned by Vaisagh. Ghibran recently revealed the first song's groove in a media discussion, which led to the recent viral talk of the town. Ghibran was spotted at the 'Naan Mirugamai Maara' pre-release event, where he was cornered by a few media persons.

Though he did his best to observe his tight-lipped face for a while, he eventually disclosed that the first single is a "mass song" that Ajith fans will enjoy. He said, "It will be a pakka mass song. I have come up with a composition keeping in mind his screen presence and the scope for him to dance in it," Ghibran said.  He was also queried about the film's overall song count and when the eagerly anticipated trailer would be released.

He generously declined, though, to provide any additional plot details until the production house makes it. Additionally, there have been rumours that the debut single, Chilla Chilla, will be released on Thursday, November 17. Produced by Boney Kapoor and directed by H. Vinoth, Thunivu's lead actors include Ajith Kumar, Manju Warrier, Samuthirakani, Prem Kumar, John Kokken, and Kavin.

It is expected to compete with Vijay's Varisu during January 2023, around Pongal. The movie's post-theatrical streaming rights were sold to Netflix, its satellite rights to Kalaignar TV and Red Giant Movies bought the distribution rights.
