'It's all over': CSK concedes the stunning fact with these worst records!

When it came to deciding on do or die in the current season, CSK had seemingly opted for the second one as what had become a successful start in the tournament opener has now been trajecting towards filling up the worst chapter in the history of the super kings after Dhoni's men conceded the stunning fact that the team is the first one to exit from the season without entering the playoffs.

It's confirmed that the CSK has no business in the current season and what it would be going to play in upcoming days would be no possible antidote for the team and the team would only be playing the remaining three matches to finish their count. By conceding the defeat against the defending champions MI, CSK has become the only team in the current season to record the most number of defeats so far as out of 11 games it had played, it had lost eight matches, not because of the highest chases but because of the team's less tendency towards fixing the damages and flawed performances.

Neither the Chennai Super Kings team nor their fans expected anything else but some consolation in their match against the Mumbai Indians. Kieron Pollard captained the Mumbai Indians' side due to the absence of Rohit Sharma. Mumbai Indians won the toss and surprisingly decided to field first.

With given of prospect to open the innings, CSK had come in to bat first with some changes in the playing XI as Dhoni had brought in Imran Tahir, Ruturaj Gaikwad, and Jagadeesan in their squad amid his claim of not seeing any 'spark' in the youngsters all these days. Due to the change in the side, a change was expected in their performance too, but the change had eventually shocked and disappointed the fans.

Things turned out to be disastrous for the CSK this time as Trent Boult and Jasprit Bumrah went all over them from the first delivery. The duo of pacers had proved that CSK isn't the dangerous team anymore as the much-expected youngsters Ruturaj Gaikwad and Jagadeesan were dismissed for a duck. No one else including Rayudu, Faf du Plessis, and Dhoni could make any change to the CSK's fortunes.

MI had taken a wicket in every over of the powerplay and the wicket count was higher than the total runs as during the third over, CSK had lost four wickets for three runs. At one point, they were 7 down for just 43 runs. Sam Curran, the young champion played a very sensible innings scoring a half-century and this took the Chennai Super Kings to a decent total of 114 runs, as it was speculated that CSK would go down below 100 runs. It was a stunning bowling display from Trent Boult as he picked up 4 wickets with a magnificent economy.

Nothing bothered the Mumbai Indians in chasing this very simple target. They were in attacking mode right from the beginning. Young Ishan Kishan played a splendid innings with ample support from the experienced Quinton de Kock which has helped them secure a gigantic victory by 10 wickets with more than 7 overs to spare. It was sweet revenge for their loss against the CSK in the first match. Nothing worked for the CSK in this match, be it batting, bowling, or fielding and this season is something that they would like to forget as soon as possible and move on.

This is the first time that CSK had lost a match by ten wickets in 11 IPL seasons they played. The three-time champions had given a total disappointment to their fans with the unprecedently flawed performances and lack of fresh gameplans to have a resurgence. It's all over for CSK as the team has been ousted from the current season with these worst and unprecedented records - It's the first time for the CSK in the eleven IPL seasons that the team would be exiting the season without entering the playoffs.

It's the first time that the CSK that team has been pushed to the bottom of the table and it's the first time that CSK had lost a match by ten wickets in 11 IPL seasons. It's the first time that the CSK had conceded many defeats than any other teams in its IPL history and it's also the first time that the team had recorded the worst batting line-up and it's also the first time that the team had recorded two times hat-trick defeats in one season and worryingly, it's also the first time that Dhoni's gameplans had met with failure.

CSK has three remaining matches with Royal Challengers Bangalore, Kings XI Punjab, and Kolkata Knight Riders and these matches won't help the team enter the playoffs even they win all three matches. On the other hand, Mumbai Indians had paid back CSK with a comfortable victory, and with the victory, MI has elevated to the top spot of the table, and Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals had reserved a berth in the playoffs.
