Aditi Shankar, whose debut film 'Viruman' is nearing its release, has joined the cast of the much-awaited movie "Maaveeran." She will be paired with popular actor Sivakarthikeyan in the film. Actress Sarika was also reported to be added to the board.
The antagonist will be played by renowned director Mysskin in the movie which will be bankrolled by Shanthi Talkies. According to the most recent information, Aditi Shankar will portray the female lead opposite Sivakarthikeyan in "Maaveeran." Aditi is the talented filmmaker Shankar's daughter. Her first movie as a female 'Viruman' has been slated for a theatrical release on August 12.
Aditi, who is a doctor, singer, and actress, has already been given this chance prior to the release of her debut movie, "Viruman," which stars Karthi as the lead. The bilingual film "Maaveeran," which is being produced simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu, is known as "Mahaveerudu" in Telugu. The movie team has unveiled another update that veteran actor Sarika would be playing a crucial role.
Maaveeran had a formal puja on July 17 to announce its release, although the filming has not yet started. A video showcasing the actor's role was used to promote the movie. Sivakarthikeyan appeared in a rustic avatar in the announcement video that Mahesh Babu unveiled. Taking to Twitter on Wednesday, the makers Shanthi Talkies wrote, "We are glad to have Aditi Shankar onboard! #Maaveeran."
Maaveeran is directed by Madonne Ashwin, who is known for his movie 'Mandela' starred Yogi Babu. Yuvan Shankar Raja is scoring the music for the movie, and Vidhu Ayyanna handled the photography. Philomin Raj is in charge of the movie's editing, and Kumar Gangappan is in charge of the artwork. The film announcement was earlier released and got a good response from film buffs for its unique conceptual video. Maaveeran is slated for a theatrical release in summer 2023.
