It's official! Here's the cast and crew of Thalaivar170! Makers share the official announcement

The superstar Rajinikanth, is all set to dazzle the silver screen with his upcoming action thriller ‘Thalaivar 170’. The film, which is produced by Lyca Productions and directed by T.J. Gnanavel, has already created a lot of buzz with its star-studded cast and crew.

The makers of ‘Thalaivar 170’ have been revealing the names of the actors and technicians who are part of the project one by one, keeping the fans on their toes. The latest addition to the team is none other than the handsome hunk of Telugu cinema, Rana Daggubati. The makers announced the news on their official Twitter handle with a poster featuring the actor in monochrome.

Taking to X, Lyca Productions penned, “Welcoming the dapper & supercool talent  Mr. Rana Daggubati  on board for #Thalaivar170 #Thalaivar170Team has gotten even more charismatic  with the addition of the dashing @RanaDaggubati”

Rana, who is known for his versatile roles in films like ‘Baahubali’, ‘Ghazi’ and ‘Aranya’, will be playing a pivotal role in ‘Thalaivar 170’. The details of his character are yet to be revealed, but sources say that he will be sharing some intense scenes with Rajini, who is playing a maverick cop in the film.

Rana is not the only new face in ‘Thalaivar 170’. The film also features some of the finest talents from the Malayalam and Tamil film industries. The leading lady of the film is the Mollywood superstar Manju Warrier, who will be making her third Tamil debut with this film.

The film also has two young and talented actresses, Ritika Singh and Dushara Vijayan, in important roles. Ritika, who impressed the audience with her performance in films like ‘Irudhi Suttru’ and ‘Oh My Kadavule’, will be playing a junior cop who assists Rajini in his mission. Dushara, who impressed with her strong role in Aneethi, will be playing the daughter of Rajini and Manju, as per sources.

The music of the film is composed by the young sensation Anirudh Ravichander, who has already delivered some chartbusters with Rajini in films like Jailer,‘Petta’ and ‘Darbar’. The film is expected to release in the summer of 2024, and the fans are eagerly waiting to see the next official poster of Thalaivar very soon.
