It's Official! The Ratchasan duo is back... Makers share the official announcement!

After delivering hits with a rural comedy, Mundasupatti and a psycho thriller Ratsasan, actor Vishnu Vishal and director Ramkumar are joining hands for the third time. The makers announced the official news on Twitter on Monday, creating a buzz among the fans. 

The untitled film is said to be a fantasy romance with a strong emotional core, set against the backdrop of a hill station. The film will be produced by TG Thyagarajan of Sathya Jyothi Films. The film is expected to go on floors by April-May.

The production house Sathya Jyothi films, took to twitter on Monday, and wrote, "Get ready to experience his 3rd Film after #Mundasupatti & #Ratsasan ! The #VV21 with  Blockbuster reunion of @TheVishnuVishal & @dir_ramkumar". Vishnu Vishal, who has been busy with multiple projects, expressed his excitement about working with Ramkumar again. He tweeted, “This one im damn excited about…. Never done this before”

Ramkumar, who made his debut with Mundasupatti in 2014, followed it up with Ratsasan in 2018, which became one of the most acclaimed and successful films of that year. The director earlier said in an interview that he chose Vishnu Vishal for the lead role because he knows that he is an actor who grasps his vision and delivers exactly what is required.

He also revealed that the film will have elements of fantasy and emotional drama, unlike their previous films which were comedy and thriller respectively. The film will also mark the first collaboration of Vishnu Vishal and producer TG Thyagarajan. 

Apart from this film, Vishnu Vishal last seen in Gatta Kusthi, a comedy entertainer directed by Chella Ayyavu, He also has Mohandas, a crime thriller directed by Murali Karthick, which is yet to be completed, and also have Lal Salaam with Aishwarya Rajinikanth.
