It's a wrap: Chiyaan Vikram finally completes a movie shooting that lasted for three years! Pics go viral

Chiyaan Vikram and the team have finally completed the shooting for the movie 'Cobra' that lasted for three years and during one of the long runs, the movie team has braced up several shocking events and setbacks including the Covid-19 pandemic and lockdown. While his latest release Mahaan has been receiving mixed reactions, Vikram is all set for the release of Cobra. 

Cobra is directed by Ajay Gnanamuthu and on Tuesday- February 15, he announced that the shooting has been wrapped. He said, "It's a wrap!! Close to 3 years of filming comes to an end!! My sincere thanks to Chiyaan Vikram sir and my entire team who trusted me, sailed through all the struggles and difficult times with me and believed in the vision of Cobra!! Forever indebted to each one of u."

In Cobra, Vikram has acted in seven characters and it has been made as a psychological action thriller film. It is bankrolled by SS Lalit Kumar under his own banner Seven Screen Studios. While Vikram plays the lead role, Srinidhi Shetty, Miya, KS Ravikumar, Roshan Mathew, Shaji Chen, Mirnalini Ravi, Anandaraj, and Robo Shankar play important roles. Interestingly, former Team India cricketer Irfan Pathan will also be acting in the movie. 

Isaipuyal AR Rahman has composed the music for Cobra and the movie team has hit the floors for shooting in 2019 and three years later, the shooting has now been fully completed. While Harish Kannan has done cinematography, Bhuvan Srinivasan has done editing. The picture shared by Ajay Gnanamuthu has been going viral and the team has celebrated the moment by cutting a cake. Vikram's latest release Mahaan was also produced by Lalit Kumar, who is the producer of Cobra. As Mahaan has got released last week, the movie team has begun the post-production works.
