In a remarkable feat, the action-packed film "Jawan" has secured its place as the most-watched movie on Netflix in India. Directed by Atlee and featuring the charismatic Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role, the movie originally hit theatres on September 7, grossing more than an impressive Rs 1000 crore worldwide across all languages.

Three months after its theatrical release, on November 2, "Jawan" made its way to the Netflix streaming platform. The movie quickly gained traction, earning a spot in the top 10 films (non-English) worldwide for two consecutive weeks, according to data released by Netflix.

Within just two weeks of its Netflix debut, "Jawan" garnered a staggering 37,00,000 views and accumulated 1,0,600,000 hours of watch time. The only other Indian film to feature on this prestigious list was the Tamil film "Irukapatru," which garnered 12,00,000 views and 3,000,000 hours of watch time.

Shah Rukh Khan, expressing his joy over the success of "Jawan," shared in a statement, "I am happy to share that 'Jawan' is the most-watched film in India on Netflix." Khan, portraying the character of Azad Rathore, a committed prison officer on a mission to clear his father's name, Vikram Rathore, delivered a stellar performance in the film, captivating audiences worldwide.

The film boasts an ensemble cast featuring Nayanthara, Sanya Malhotra, and Vijay Sethupathi in pivotal roles. Adding to the star power, Deepika Padukone makes a special appearance as Azad’s mother, Aishwarya Rathore. The supporting cast, including Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, Sunil Grover, Riddhi Dogra, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, Girija Oak, Lehar Khan, and Aaliyah Qureishi, contributes to the movie's widespread acclaim.

Noteworthy cameo appearances by Yogi Babu, Eijaz Khan, Sangay Tsheltrim, and Jaffer Sadiq further add to the film's allure. Since its release, "Jawan" has not only captivated audiences with its gripping storyline but has also crossed the remarkable milestone of earning more than 1000 crores worldwide.

The film's exceptional background score, composed by Anirudh Ravichander, coupled with the cinematography skills of G. K. Vishnu and the editing finesse of Ruben, has played a pivotal role in the movie's success.
