Kamal Haasan is back to the 'Bigg' business: When Bigg Boss Tamil season 5 will begin?

Kamal Haasan is back with what has become his signature words - 'You neither can run nor hide, I will be watching', as amid the dimming political venture, he is all set to occupy the limelight for three months by hosting the fifth season of the confined entertainment show -Bigg Boss. On Tuesday, the actor-turned-politician took to social media and released the promo of the Bigg Boss season 5 Tamil and he captioned the promo by saying 'Aarambikalama'? (Shall we start).

The promo, which runs for twenty seconds, had garnered a wider reception as the Tami audience get ready to watch the fifth edition of the Bigg Boss as the coming months will be the savouries of entertainment from watching movies in the theatres, celebrating the IPL, to surveilling into the Bigg Boss house. Bigg Boss is four years old for the Tamil audience and the show has grown in the state amid episodes of furore, drama, controversies, and debacles,  and it has become one of the most-watched shows across and beyond the borders.

Kamal Haasan has made the debut of hosting television shows through Bigg Boss when it has made its debut in Tamil Nadu. Through the unprecedented fashion of the game, the show has earned popularity among the Tamil audience, which in turn poured more light on the universal hero. Kamal Haasan has been hosting the show since the beginning and now, it is ready to unveil its fifth edition. Besides being a host, Kamal Haasan has also found a prospect of pushing his political propaganda to a large scale of people and he still admires the prospect. 

Ever since the promo was released, the fans had begun their predictions of who will win the ticket to enter the confined house and according to reports, Bigg Boss Tamil season 5 will be aired on Vijay Television from October and will run for 100 days. The Tamil audience are in a buzz that five new rules will be introduced in the upcoming season. However, it is yet to be confirmed by the organizers and they are currently in the process of finalizing the contestants.

After finalizing, the contestants will be asked to be in quarantine for two weeks before entering the Bigg Boss house. Kamal Haasan has shot the promo last week and the reports close to the developments say that the season will begin on October 2. As the organizers are making the arrangements in the EVP Film City, in the outskirts of Chennai, to host the season, there has been a debate going on the social media over the probable contestants and several netizens predict that 'Cook with Comali' fame Kani, Vijay tv fame Sunita Gogoi, and 'Tik Tok' fame GP Muthu will be participating in the season. 

On the work front, Kamal Haasan is currently in the outing for the movie 'Vikram', which is touted to be an action thriller film. While the movie is bankrolled by Kamal Haasan under his own banner Raaj Kamal Films International, it is helmed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. While Kamal Haasan plays the lead role, Vijay Sethupathi, Fahadh Faasil, Kalidas Jayaram, Narain, Anthony Varghese, Arjun Das, and Shivani Narayanan are playing the important roles. The music is composed by Anirudh and the movie is on the floor of the shooting and though the release date is yet to be planned by the makers, the Hindi dubbed version of the movie is sold to Rs 37 crore. The film's official title teaser was released on November 7 last year and it has garnered major reception and expectations from the fans.
