Kanguva: Makers unveil a new poster of this powerful character from the epic fantasy !

The makers of ‘Kanguva’, the upcoming Tamil fantasy periodic drama, starring Suriya in the lead role, have unveiled a new character poster of Bobby Deol, who said to play the main villaneous role in the film. The poster was released on the occasion of Bobby Deol’s birthday, as a special treat for his fans.

The poster shows Bobby Deol as Udhiran, a powerful and merciless ruler, who has his foot firmly on the land. He is seen wearing his traditional attire belonging to his tribe, with a sword in his hand and a fierce expression on his face. 

The makers took to X,  to share the poster and wish Bobby Deol a happy birthday. They wrote, “Ruthless. Powerful. Unforgettable.’ Happy Birthday to our #Udhiran, #BobbyDeol sir #Kanguva #HBDBobbyDeol @thedeol”.

‘Kanguva’ is directed by Siruthai Siva, who is known for his blockbuster films with Ajith Kumar. The film marks the first collaboration between Suriya and Siva, as well as the Tamil debut of Bobby Deol and Disha Patani. Disha Patani plays the female lead and the love interest of Suriya, who essays the role of Kanguva, a brave and righteous warrior.

The film also features a stellar supporting cast, including Avinash, Kovai Sarala, Yogi Babu, and Anand Raj among others. The music of the film is composed by Devi Sri Prasad, while the cinematography is handled by Vetri.

The second look poster of the film, which showed Suriya in a fierce avatar, was released a few days ago on the occasion of Pongal. The poster received a huge response from the fans and the critics alike. Suriya has already completed filming for his portions in ‘Kanguva’, which is expected to hit the screens later this year.
