South Indian actress Keerthy Suresh celebrated a significant milestone as she completed a remarkable ten years in the cinema industry on November 14. The talented actress took to social media to share a heartfelt video, expressing her gratitude to fans and everyone who has been a part of her journey.

In the video, Keerthy Suresh extended a warm welcome in Tamil, Malayalam, and Telugu, showcasing her versatile presence in all three South Indian languages where she actively pursues her acting career. Expressing her heartfelt thanks, she acknowledged her fans, parents, and offered a special note of gratitude to her mentor and director, Priyadarshan.

Keerthy Suresh also took a moment to appreciate the unwavering support she has received from fans, friends, and well-wishers throughout her decade-long journey in the film industry. Promising to deliver even more compelling performances in her upcoming films, Keerthy Suresh humbly regarded these ten years as just the beginning of her cinematic voyage.

Addressing the inevitable aspect of criticism and trolls, she acknowledged the role of constructive feedback in an actor's growth, expressing gratitude for those who pointed out her flaws. Born into a family deeply rooted in the film industry, Keerthy Suresh is the daughter of renowned actress Menaka and producer Suresh Kumar.

Her elder sister, Revathy Sureshkumar, is also a notable producer. Keerthy's initiation into the world of cinema dates back to the early 2000s when she worked as a child actress in some of her father's productions, including films like "Pilots" in 2000, "Achaneyenanikkishtam",  and "Kuberan".

Taking on her first lead role in a Malayalam film, Keerthy Suresh made her debut as a lead actress in Priyadarshan's horror film "Geethaanjali." Her foray into Tamil cinema began with A. L. Vijay's romantic comedy "Idhu Enna Maayam." Notably, she gained widespread acclaim for her portrayal of the legendary southern actress Savitri in Nag Ashwin's biographical drama "Mahanati," a performance that earned her the National Film Award for Best Actress.

Her stellar acting prowess in "Mahanati" also secured a spot in the "100 Greatest Performances of the Decade" list by Film Companion. Additionally, Keerthy Suresh found herself recognized in Forbes India's esteemed "30 Under 30" list of 2021.
