KH 234: It's official... Makers unveils cast update of Maniratnam - Kamal Hassan's venture

As the clock ticks down to the much-anticipated title and cast reveal, cinephiles can hardly contain their excitement. With the combined brilliance of Haasan, Ratnam, and an ensemble of industry experts, "KH234" is primed to deliver the update showers treating for the Ulagaanayagan's birthday tomorrow.

The tantalizing first update was shared on social media, as the grand announcement set for today 5pm on the occasion of Kamal Haasan's birthday tomorrow. The excitement reached fever pitch when it was revealed that Malayalam superstar Dulquer Salmaan has officially joined the cast, a move that sparked a frenzy among his devoted fan base. The production banner took to X, shared the star's official charming first look poster, writing, "Excited to collaborate with @dulQuer on this epic journey...".

As much as anticipated, the makers also made it official that Trisha joined the film's cast by revealing the first look poster of the Ponniyin Selvan actress. The home banner wrote, "With utmost delight, we greet and welcome the dazzling actor @trishtrashers in our exciting journey". It's worth mentioning that the actress already worked with Maniratnam in Aayutha Ezhuthu, Ponniyin Selvan Part 1 and 2, and she also shared screen space with Kamal Hassan in Manamdhan Anbu and Thoongavanam.

In a bold statement released by the RKFI banner, the film's producers, the anticipation for "KH234" was palpable. The message read, "#KH234 Title Announcement on November 06 at 5pm On the glorious occasion of Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan Sir's birthday, the grand reveal of the movie title for Project #KH234 is scheduled for today, November 6th,"

"The movie is being produced by Raajkamal Films International, Madras Talkies, Red Giant Movies, R.Mahendran and Siva Ananth. The star combination behind this magnum opus - Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam - are proud to join forces with Isai Puyal A. R. Rahman, cinematographer Ravi K Chandran, editor Sreekar Prasad, stunt choreographers Anbariv, along with the best technical crew in the industry," the statement added.

"In the lead up to Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan's 69th birthday celebrations, an exclusive announcement of the movie title for #KH234 will be released on November 6th at 5pm.". Under the banners of Raaj Kamal Films International, Madras Talkies, and Red Giant Movies, this film is being produced by Kamal Haasan, Mani Ratnam, R. Mahendran, and Siva Ananth. With the musical genius of A R Rahman, the visuals crafted by cinematographer Ravi K Chandran, and the thrilling action sequences choreographed by Anbariv.
