Lal Salaam: Here's the first single from the Aishwarya Rajinikanth's next!

The much-awaited first single from Aishwarya Rajinikanth’s directorial , Lal Salaam, has been released today and it is nothing short of a musical feast. The song, titled Ther Thiruvizha, is composed by the legendary Isai Puyal AR Rahman, who has once again proved his mastery over blending traditional and modern elements in his music.

The song is a grand celebration of the village life, culture and spirit, with the powerful vocals of Shankar Mahadevan, A R Raihanah, Deepthi Suresh and Yogi Sekar. The lyrics by Vivek are catchy and refreshing, capturing the essence of the festive mood. The song is almost 8 minutes long, but it never feels dull or repetitive as AR Rahman has spun a musical treat deeply rooted in tradition.

The song weaving together a village folk melody, adorned with the unmistakable signature touch of the Isai Puyal himself. The lyrical video also introduces us to a lively ensemble cast, featuring the charismatic trio of Senthil, Thambi Ramaiah, and Vishnu Vishal. 

The film features the ensemble cast of the film, Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth, who play the roles of two cricketers and their mentors, where Ananthika Sanilkumar, Vivek Prasanna, Thangadurai plays pivotal roles. The film is a sports entertainer, with a special appearance by none other than Superstar Rajinikanth, who is also Aishwarya’s father. The film is produced by Lyca Productions.

In 'Lal Salaam,' Rajinikanth will share the screen with Nirosha, portraying Moideen's wife, and Jeevitha Rajashekar, playing Moideen's sister. The film will also feature a special appearance by former cricketer Kapil Dev, introducing an unexpected element for the audience. Cinematography is handled by Vishnu Rangasamy, where B Pravin Baaskar handles the editing, and the film is slated to hit on Pongal 2024.
