Lal Salaam is an upcoming Tamil movie that's generating a lot of buzz amongst movie buffs. The film stars actors Vishnu Vishal and Vikrant in lead roles, and the latest exciting news regarding the star cast has been revealed. Apparently, superstar Rajinikanth will be making a special appearance in the movie, much to the delight of his legions of fans.

As per latest sources, the exciting update is garnered that the popular and classic legendary comedian Senthil is also part of the film, making it a reunion of sorts for Rajinikanth and Senthil, who have previously worked together in numerous movies and gave a signature hit. While Rajinikanth and Senthil are known for their memorable comedy tracks from their previous movies, Muthu, Padayappa, Veera, Ejamaan and more.

But in "Lal Salaam" they will be seen donning more serious roles as per sources. The film is being backed by Lyca Productions banner and features a talented ensemble cast, with Aishwarya at the helm of both direction and screenplay writing. Currently, Senthil and Vishnu Vishal are filming a schedule in Gingee, a picturesque town in Villupuram district of Tamil Nadu. This shoot will go on for 35 days, while Rajinikanth will be joining the crew once he completes his other project, "Jailer".

Interestingly, this will be the first time, Aishwarya is directing her father and Superstar Rajinikanth, hence their collaboration is eagerly awaited by fans. Adding to the excitement is the fact that the film has music maestro AR Rahman on board to compose the soundtrack.

With a star-studded cast and crew, "Lal Salaam" is shaping up to be one of the most highly anticipated films of the year. The movie boasts of some talented technicians as well, with Vishnu Rangasamy handling the cinematography, Ramu Thangaraj overseeing the art direction, and B. Pravin Baaskar taking care of the edits. The movie is scheduled to release in theaters later this year.
