Left with no support, Rajeswari's family raises crowdfunding!

After having left with the less financial resource, the family of Rajeswari who has been hospitalized in a private hospital in Coimbatore after met with a severe accident where a truck rammed on her legs, has now started crowdfunding to treat her and to face medical and hospital expenses.

On Monday, 30-year-old Rajeswari was driving on her scooter in Avanishi road about 8.30 am during when one of the hundreds of flagpoles with ADMK flag that were erected on the corners of both sides of the roads in the wake of the family event of local ADMK party man, had fallen on her path which resulted to loss her control on the drive and fell on the road following which a truck hit her scooter and rammed on her legs which had caused severe injuries. Being the only income resource for her family, Rajeswari was admitted to the private hospital for surgeries since then.

Despite the eyewitnesses who claimed that the accident had happened while she was trying to evade the flagpole that had led her to lost the control on her drive, the police department has filed an FIR in which they had booked a case against the truck driver under the grounds of rash driving and the police authorities alleged that there are no CCTV footages that recorded the accident.

The reports say that Rajeswari's left leg has been cut off at the knee and while she is the only income source of her family, they had started to raise the funds through online fundraising sites and crowdfunding to meet the medical expenses and to save her life. Her family has been stationed in the hospital while she has been admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and they have been hoping to rescue her through the help and contribution which can be made by visiting this site.

Rajeswari, a BBA graduate had recently moved back to Coimbatore from Chennai by citing the financial situation of her family and has been working as an Accounts Assistant a few weeks ago.
