Legendary actor Kamal Haasan gets discharged from hospital...But, will he stick to the doctors' advice?

Legendary actor Ulaga Nayagan Kamal Haasan, after two days of hospitalization, got discharged from a hospital in Chennai on Friday. On Wednesday - November 23, the actor complained of a fever and health discomfort. He was then quickly rushed to the Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre in Porur, Chennai, where he was subsequently admitted. 

Recently, Kamal Haasan went to Hyderabad where he met the legendary filmmaker K Vishwanath and received the latter's blessings. Upon his arrival in Chennai, he developed health setback. Reacting to his health condition, the hospital said, "Actor and Makkal Needhi Maiam chief Kamal Haasan is recovering well and will be discharged in a day or two. He was admitted to the hospital with mild fever, cough & cold, yesterday." 

Kamal Haasan had also undergone a regular medical check-up and after the hospitalization, the actor got discharged on Friday. Exiting the hospital, he waved at the reporters as he drove back home. The reports say that he is less likely to stick to the doctors' advice. While the doctors have instructed Kamal Haasan to take complete rest for a few more days, he is planning to resume his works immediately sans hiatus. 

As Kamal Haasan is hosting the sixth season of the Bigg Boss Tamil, he has decided to return to host the show during the weekend. After learning about his discharge, thousands of fans extend their wishes to the actor for a lasting recovery. The visuals of the actor leaving from the hospital have been going viral on social media. 

Kamal Haasan's last movie was Vikram, which was directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and made more than Rs 450 crore at the box office. He is currently working on the set of the upcoming film Indian 2 with director Shankar. In addition, he has also signed with Maniratnam for the new project that has been tentatively titled KH234, which will be getting be released by 2024.
