'Let's connect in cinemas': Nayanthara's next 'Connect' gets the release date!

Nayanthara was most recently seen in Godfather, the Telugu adaptation of Lucifer and the triangular love story 'Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal which is directed by Vignesh Shivan. While her upcoming movie, "Gold," is getting ready for a big theatrical release this week, her next film, Connect, which is being directed by Ashwin Saravanan, is all set to get released later this month. 

The makers have announced the release date of 'Connect' on Wednesday - November 30. Connect is bankrolled by Nayanthara- Vignesh Shivan's Rowdy Pictures and its director Ashwin Saravanan is known for his movies 'Game Over' starring Tapsee Pannu and 'Maya' starring Nayanthara, which is the latter's 50th movie. 

On Wednesday, Vignesh Shivan released a new poster to announce the release date of Connect. He wrote, "22.12.22. Vaanga (come) let's #Connect in cinemas. See u in theatres from 22.12.22 wit our first attempt! A film without interval. 99 minutes of Horror-Entertainment at one go. Certified U/A - so come as families & enjoy this brilliant piece of work from director Ashwin Saravanan." 

The movie has been hailed as a spine-tingling, scream-worthy horror. As Vignesh Shivan announced, it's interesting that the movie has a 99-minute running time with no intermission, which does nothing but tease movie buffs with this new attempt at a theatrical viewing experience. The movie would revolve around a single mother who starts noticing eerie changes in the behavior of her daughter, gets virtual help of a pastor who proposes a virtual exorcism. 

While Nayanthara plays the lead role as the single mother, Sathyaraj, Anupam Kher, Vinay Rai, and Haniya Nafis will play crucial roles. Prithvi Chandrasekhar has composed the music and The film's cinematographer and editor are Manikantan Krishnamachary and Richard Kevin, respectively. Nayanthara is also busy with her next project 'Jawan' starred by Shah Rukh Khan and directed by Atlee.
