Sita Ramam unexpectedly fueled the box office across the country amid the past released rustic masala Pan Indian films. Lyca Productions banner which billed the Hanu Raghavapudi-directed film got all lauded in recently occured success meet. Dulquer Salmaan and Mrunal Thakur's Classical Love Story hit the theatres in August 5, and managed to collect Rs 33 crore worldwide in the first week.

The film crew partied in Chennai as a result of the favorable fan reaction to the movie. Hanu Raghavapudi wrote and directed the historical romance Sita Ramam. Rashmika Mandanna, Mrunal Thakur, and Duqluer Salmaan plays the lead key characters in the movie with supporting actors included Sumanth, Sachin Khedekar, Prakash Raj, Gautham Vasudev Menon, and Bhumika Chawla played the crucial roles. Produced by Swapna Cinema and Vyjayanthi Movies with Lyca Productions banner, the lovely story of Lieutenant Ram, an army officer who is an orphan, and Sita Mahalakshmi is set in 1964. The film's screenplay, direction, performances,specifically Thakur's cinematography, visual effects, and the chemistry between the lead actors all received praise from critics.
