In the midst of being surfaced with a promising opening for his directorial stint, popular actor Madhavan is in the seventh heaven after the overwhelming commendation that has been pouring on him from across and beyond the borders as he has started his innings as a director through the remarkable victory of the movie 'Rocketry: The Nambi Effect'.
As the trajectory of the movie has been successful, Madhavan has been celebrating the response and on Monday - July 4, Superstar Rajinikanth has appreciated Madhavan and the movie team and cited that 'Rocketry' is a must-watch movie. He said that Madhavan has proved in his very first movie that he is not less than any legendary director.
Taking to Twitter, Rajinikanth released a statement in which he said, "The 'Rocketry' movie is a much-watch movie for everyone - particularly the young people. Madhavan has proved through his first directional that he is at par with the best directors by directing and acting in the biopic of Thiru Nambi Narayanan, who endured pains and made sacrifices for the development of the Indian space research."
"My greetings and wishes to Madhavan for presenting such a wonderful movie", Rajinikanth added. Rocketry was released in the theatres on July 1 in English, Tamil, and Hindi. While Madhavan had helmed and acted in the lead role, Simran, Ravi Raghavendra, Misha Ghoshal, Karthik Kumar, and Gulshan Grover have acted in important roles. Interestingly, Suriya has made a cameo appearance in Tamil and the same role was acted by Shah Rukh Khan in the Hindi version of the movie while Sam CS has composed the music.
