In what has become a massive update from Vijay's next project after 'Beast', a daughter of a Telugu superstar is most likely going to act with Vijay in the movie, which has now been tentatively named as 'Thalapathy 66'. The development has come when Thalapathy 66 team has been making preparations to begin the shooting. 

According to reports, the latest buzz in Kollywood is that Mahesh Babu's daughter Sitara Ghattamaneni is going to play an important role in Thalapathy 66. As the movie involves a segment of father-daughter bonding, the team has approached Mahesh Babu to sign her daughter for the role with Vijay. As Mahesh Babu is close to Vijay and the movie team, the reports say that he had accepted to let his daughter act in the movie. 

It has also been reported that Sitara is close to Aadya, the daughter of Vamshi Paidipally, the director of Thalapathy 66. Vijay is currently busy with his upcoming movie 'Beast' helmed by Nelson Dilipkumar. Beast is bankrolled by Kalanithi Maran under his own banner Sun Pictures and while Vijay plays the lead role, Pooja Hegde, Selvaraghavan, Yogi Babu, Shine Tom Chacko, VTV Ganesh, Aparna Das, and Sathish Krishnan play important roles. 

Beast has been in its last leg of shooting and the reports say the shooting of Thalapathy 66 will begin soon and the movie has been touted to be a romance, emotions, and comedy film. Thalapathy 66 is bankrolled by popular Telugu producer Dil Raju under the banner Sri Venkateswara Creations. Though there has been no official confirmation about Vijay's salary for this movie, it was said that as Vijay is going to join hands with the Tollywood team for the first time, Dil Raju had decided to offer Rs 120 crore as the salary to the actor. 

If the package gets confirmed, Vijay will become the highest-paid actor in India through Thalapathy 66. The movie team is yet to officially release the crew and earlier, it was said that Telugu actor Nani will be playing the antagonist in Thalapathy 66 and now, the fans relish a massive update that Mahesh Babu's daughter is going to play a crucial role in Thalapathy 66. As a testament to Vijay- Mahesh Babu bonding, last year, Mahesh Babu had invited Vijay to join the Green India challenge and Vijay had accepted the challenge and planted saplings at his residence and shared the pictures on Twitter, which had gone super viral.
