Kollywood director Mohan G has on Saturday unveiled a big update about his next movie. In what has become a huge surprise for the Tamil fans, popular director Selvaraghavan is going to play the lead role in Mohan's next movie that is yet to be titled. It will be his fourth movie as the director and he is all set to direct a prominent director. 

Earlier, Mohan had directed movies like 'Pazhaya Vannarapettai', 'Draupathi', and 'Rudhra Thandavam' and his movie store was filled with controversies. While Richard Rishi had acted in the lead roles in all three movies, Mohan G has roped in Selvaraghavan to play the lead role in his fourth movie. Before the unveiling of the update, Mohan had stirred a guess among the fans about his next movie through a Facebook post. 

He wrote, "The announcement about my next movie will be at 6.40 pm today (Saturday)...With the expectation of your support forever." Following the announcement, speculations were doing rounds on social media over the movie name and who will play the lead role. Amid such speculations, he had released the update as announced and shared that Selvaraghavan is going to play the lead role. 

He wrote, "I am proud to announce that highly respected director Thiru Selvaraghavan will be acting as hero in my next movie. Await for the movie name and further details. Expecting your support."  The announcement had attracted major attention from across and beyond Kollywood. Selvaraghavan is currently sporting to play as an actor in the lead role and he has already been acting in the movie 'Saani Kaayidham', which is also starred by Keerthy Suresh. 

The reports say that Mohan's movie will go for shooting in the early next year. Mohan took to Twitter and wrote, "Feeling blessed and proud to work with @selvaraghavan sir as lead actor in my next movie... Title & Further details will be announced soon...Thanks for all your support." Reacting to Mohan's announcement, Selvaraghavan wrote, "Pleasure is all mine! Looking forward to this exciting new journey. God bless."
