Next in the storm of Thalapathy67 updates! This is what these Kollywood biggies had to say on taking part in the venture...

The cast of Lokesh Kanagaraj's Thalapathy67 started to drop from the production house on Tuesday, much to the delight of the fans who had been following updates every week and had made viral headlines on internet. This film marks their third collaboration with actor Vijay for Seven Screen Studios. The shooting of the film commenced on January 2 and is currently progressing at a brisk pace in Kashmir.

Taking to Twitter, the makers have officially announced the cast of Thalapathy67. Following Sanjay Dutt, Sandy master, Priya Anand, the next biggies of Kollywood were announced. The newest cast members, Arjun Sarja, Mysskin, Gautham Menon, and Mansoor Ali Khan, have all voiced excitement about joining the cast, which were shared along the featured posters by the makers.

Sharing the poster of director Mysskin, the makers said, "Yes, it’s official now! We are happy to announce Director #Mysskin is part of #Thalapathy67 now." Director Mysskin told, "21 years ago I worked as an associate director for Vijay's film; the one thing that hasn't changed in all these years, is the bond that we share. This excites me more and specially because of the mutual love and respect that Lokesh & I have. I am eagerly waiting to see you all in theatres with Thalapathy 67."

"I have also joined 'Thalapathy 67' directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. Will meet you soon on big screens," Mansoor Ali Khan said in the revealed poster, and the director turned actor Gautham Menon said, "Rubbing shoulders with the best in the industry except for this time in front of the camera. Happy to be part of the 'Thalapathy 67". Action King Arjun was elated to join 'Thalapathy 67' and the actor said, "Boarding a mighty ship (T67) navigated and commanded by a fantabulous captain (LK). Time to Roarrrr".

The Master duo previously made a blast in their first venture of collaboration. It's worth noting that Lokesh Kanagaraj admitted earlier in the interview that when working with Vijay in Master, and he wasn't able to give it his all. He did, however, add that he can now claim that he needs some time to work on the script.
