One million views in one day and counting...Watch Selvaraghavan's 'Bakasuran' teaser!

Director Selvaraghavan, who clads supporting roles in the movie in recent times, will be playing the lead role in the movie 'Bakasuran' helmed by Mohan G, who rose to fame through his movies 'Draupathi' and 'Rudrathandavam'. The teaser of Bakasuran was released on Sunday - August 28 days after the release of the first look poster. 

It is the first time that Selvaraghavan and Mohan G are collaborating with each other. The teaser of Bakasuran has got a decent reception as it has breached one million views in one day. The one-minute teaser features Selvaraghavan in ferocious action and as seen in the previous social dramas, Bakasuran carries the element of the director's signature conceptual story. 

Besides Selvaraghavan, Natti Nataraj is also playing a crucial role in Bakasuran as he is sporting the character of a tough cop, who is on the lookout for the evildoers. The teaser primarily hints at the tale theme to be wicked things around young women in modern society and disturbed man shouldering the duty to harm the sinners. Releasing the teaser, Selvaraghavan wrote, "Protect our next generation." 

By the time of writing this content, the teaser has garnered over 1.2 million views. Taking to Twitter, Mohan wrote, "Here is Bakasuran teaser. Bakasuran trending in 3rd within 6 hours. Thank you so much my dear people." The movie is bankrolled by GM Film Corporation and Sam CS will be composing the music. 

Veteran actor Radha Ravi, Rajan K, Rams, and Saravanan Subbiah are among others who have played vital role in the movie. Devaraj S and Farook J Basha have handled editing and cinematography respectively for the project. Mirattal Selva has choreographed action sequences while Johny has composed dance moves.The movie teaser has received over a million views, and the Bagasuran director and cast are receiving praise from industry peers and film critics on social media.
