The plight of Andhra Pradesh farmer - Actor Sonu Sood came as savior! Here's how he helped

Ever since the COVID-19 pandemic and the lockdown triggered by the outbreak started playing its part of threatening the human lives and wrecking the economy, thousands of front line workers have joined their hands in uplifting the vulnerable people from their sufferings and the stumbling state of survival. 

In the task force, Actor Sonu Sood, who is the reel villain, has been playing a significant part by becoming a savior for people who are stranded and endured with more suffering. The actor has turned to be a real hero for many migrant workers as Sood, through his initiative of 'GharBhejo', extended his hands to the stranded workers and has done whatever it takes to send them home. So far, he has sent thousands of such workers to their homes from different parts of the country. 

In line with that, the actor has now come forward as a hope for the farmer in Andhra Pradesh, whose family has been faltering upon in the wake of the lockdown. After seeing the pain endured by the farmer and his daughters on the field, Sonu Sood, not only shared their pain, but he has sent a brand new tractor to free the family from the trouble. 

According to the reports, the actor had seen a viral video clip on Twitter where a tomato farmer in Madanapalle in Chittoor district was seen plowing the land with his two daughters who were seen hauling the yoke on the field to help their father. Many Tweeple have shared the video had raised their concerns. 

After seeing the family's situation, Sonu Sood took to Twitter and promised a brand new tractor. He tweeted, 'This family doesn't deserve a pair of ox. They deserve a tractor. So sending you one. By evening a tractor will be ploughing your fields. Stay blessed'.

 

By standing to his word, the family was gifted with a new tractor that was delivered on Sunday night, lifting them from their trouble. The reports say that the farmer is Nageswara Rao. He was running a tea stall in Madanapalle and he is the only breadwinner for the family. He was left with no business as the sequel of the lockdown, following which he returned to his native village of Mahalrajupalle to started agriculture. 

Rao's elder daughter has completed her intermediate and the younger one has completed class 10. After learning that Sonu Sood had gifted a tractor for the family, Former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and current Telugu Desam Party President Chandrababu Naidu has lauded the actor's help and gesture. 

Naidu, who hails from Chittoor district, said that 'Spoke with Sonu Sood and applauded him for his inspiring effort to send a tractor to Nageswara Rao's family in Chittoor district. Naidu took to Twitter and said, 'I have decided to take care of the education of the two daughters and help them pursue their dreams'.

Sonu Sood, who acted in multiple Telugu movies, has been setting a significant mark by helping, supporting, contributing, and standing by the affected and vulnerable people in the wake of the lockdown. He has been proving that helping hands don't have borders, religions, color, and creed. Recently, Sonu Sood has tied up with Schoolnet arm with the aim of helping two crore migrants find employment.
