The Chief Minister has called the dissented leader and his supporters to attend the meeting to resolve the issues.
However, Sachin Pilot and his camps stayed off from the reach and skipped the meeting which escalated the tensions. By breaking the news, Surjewala said that the Congress party has decided to remove Sachin Pilot from the post of Deputy Chief Minister and the party has also removed two-state ministers Vishvender Singh and Ramesh Meena from the cabinet as these two ministers have rebelled along with Sachin Pilot.
Surjewala further stated that Pilot and some of his associates are conspiring to topple the Congress government in the state that was elected by eight crore Rajashthan people. According to the reports, Ashok Gehlot has convened the Congress Legislature Party meeting on Tuesday at the Fairmont Hotel. The meeting was attended by 102 Congress MLAs and the legislators unanimously demanded that Sachin Pilot should be removed from the party.

After having enough numbers and hope that his rule will survive, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has, after the conclusion of the meeting, met with Rajasthan Governor Kalraj Mishra on Tuesday during which Gehlot informed the Governor about the decision of removing three ministers including his deputy Sachin Pilot. Upon the decision, Governor Mishra has accepted Ghelot's proposal to remove Sachin Pilot as Deputy CM and Vishvender Singh and Ramesh Meena as the cabinet ministers.

There is nothing in Sachin Pilot's hands, it is the BJP which is running the show. BJP has arranged that resort and they are managing everything. The same team which worked in Madhya Pradesh is at work here: Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot pic.twitter.com/owKbOwxKjS— ANI (@ANI) July 14, 2020
Speaking for the first time after sacking his deputy, Ashok Gehlot said that there is nothing in Sachin Pilot's hands and called the show is being run by the BJP and the same team which took Madhya Pradesh from Congress has been working in Rajasthan. State BJP President said that 'people are angry and disappointed with the Congress government and BJP will decide the strategy based on the situation'. The Congress party named Rajasthan Education Minister Govind Singh Dotasra as the President of the Rajasthan Congress party. It was strongly speculated that Sachin Pilot will join BJP and topple the Congress government. However, ANI reported quoting the sources which said he won't join BJP as most of his supporters are against the saffron camp and he might float a new party.
