Popular Tamil actor Jai has finally achieved his dream of becoming a music director after 19 years through composing the music for the movie 'Shiva Shivaa' for the first time. The actor had expressed how he felt after accomplishing the milestone through a touching note that he shared on social media. The first single from the movie was released on Monday and has attracted a significant reception from fans across and beyond the borders. 

In his note, Jai said, "Always dreamt of becoming a music director, took an accidental turn and became an actor. A pleasant accident indeed. Always grateful. But, journey of the music dream still continued...After 19 years of waiting and dreaming, here I am today (with my adrenaline pumping and my heart racing) announcing the release of my 1st single #Kaadamutta from the movie #ShivaShivaa. Nothing like seeing your dream come true!!!." 

Actor Jai is currently in an outing with director Susienthiran for the movie 'Shiva Shivaa'. Jai plays the lead role and he also made his debut as music director. The movie is bankrolled by Aishwarya under the banner Lendi Studios and while Jai plays the lead role, Meenakshi Govindarajan and Aakanksha Singh are playing the female lead roles. The movie reels with the objective of hitting the theatres in June 2022. Jai has been active since 2002 and entered the Tamil cinema as an actor. 

However, he had dreamt of becoming a music director as he was from a family of musicians. Reputed music director Deva is Jai's uncle and Deva's son Srikanth Deva, who is also a musician, is Jai's cousin. Popular musical duo Sabesh-Murali are also uncles of Jai. He has stated that music was close to his heart and greatly influenced him through his uncle Deva. Jai had completed fifth grade in keyboard from Trinity College, London and aimed to become a music composer in Tamil cinema. He has said that he is a huge fan of Yuvan Shankar Raja. 

Jai had made his debut in acting through the movie Bhagavathi in 2002 in which he had acted as Vijay's brother. He had garnered prominence through the movies Chennai 600028, Goa, Engaeyum Eppothum, Raja Rani, Vadacurry, and Jarugandi. He made his debut as a singer in the film Jarugandi, which was released in 2018. Jai was lastly seen in the 2019 release 'Capmaari', helmed by Vijay's father SA Chandrasekhar. On the other hand, Susienthiran's tour with Jai for 'Shiva Shivaa' had come after his movie 'Eeswaran', which was starred by Simbu and released this year January.
