Popular Tamil actor tests positive for Covid-19: Here's what he had to say!

Popular Tamil actor Arjun Sarja has on Monday announced that he has tested positive for the Covid-19 pandemic and asserted that he is doing well. The actor has isolated himself based on the doctor's advice and urged everyone to stay safe and follow the guidelines. After learning that the actor has tested positive for the pandemic, several fans and fraternities express their wishes to him for a speedy recovery.

The actor announced the news of testing positive for the novel coronavirus on social media. He said, "Hi everyone, I have tested positive for Covid-19. I have taken all the necessary protocols and isolated myself. I request everyone who has come in close contact with me to get themselves tested and take care." "I'm doing well. Please stay safe everyone and don't forget about your masks just yet", he added. 

Fondly called Action King, Arjun has been in prominence across and beyond the Tamil audience through his long career in the cinema industry. In his career, Arjun has etched his work in various areas including actor, producer, writer, and distributor. He had made his directorial debut in 1992 with the movie Sevagan and most recently, he had made his television debut as the host of the reality show 'Survivor Tamil', hosted by Zee TV. The program was launched in September and run for over a period of three months. 

Arjun was last seen in 'Friendship', the thriller sports comedy film that hit the big screens this September. The movie was bankrolled by Seantoaa Films and Cinemass Studio and directed by John Paul Raj and Sham Surya. Arjun had shared screen space with Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh, Losliya, Sathish, and MS Bhaskar. Arjun was also played a key role in the Malayalam epic 'Marakkar: Lion of the Arabian Sea', helmed by Priyadarshan. Mohanlal played the lead role in this movie while Arjun, Prabhu, Suniel Shetty, Suhasini Maniratnam, Keerthy Suresh, and Manju Warrier played important roles.
