Popular TN Siddha doctor Sivaraj Sivakumar passes away at the age of 78!

Popular Siddha doctor in Tamil Nadu Dr. Sivaraj Sivakumar has passed away at the age of 78 in the wee hours of Wednesday due to age-related ailments. The 78-year-old septuagenarian was a familiar face across the state, particularly among young people for his style of speaking and appearance on Television while advocating about the Siddha medicines. 

He breathed his last in Salem district and he was a part of the traditional Siddha family that has been into traditional medicines for over 200 years and over seven generations.

His clinic 'Salem Sivaraj Siddha Vaidhya Salai' is based in Salem and he had a system of conducting medical camps across the states and on various Television channels, which had earned him popularity across and beyond the borders. 

He was getting treated for age-related ailments in Salem and despite the treatments, Dr. Sivaraj had passed away in the wee hours on Wednesday at the age of 78. According to reports, he breathed his last at around 12.15 am in a hospital following his body was taken to Sivadhapuram in Salem. His mortal remains have been kept there for the public to pay homage. 

It has been reported that his body will be cremated in the evening hours of Wednesday. After the news of his demise headlined, hundreds of people have been paying tribute to the departed soul and expressing condolences to the family members.

It must be noted that Dr. Sivaraj Sivakumar was involved in Siddha medicines for the past five decades and he played important role in the rise of his clinic and steering the traditional and generations-old clinic forward.
