Potential Diplomatic meet!

Months after expressing his willingness to mediate Kashmir issue between India and Pakistan, United States President Donald Trump had seemingly admitted that Kashmir issue must be sorted out only through bilateral talks where the US President had expressed his hope of having bilateral resolutions on Kashmir when he met with Indian Prime minister Narendra Modi in the sidelines of on going G7 summit in France which was hosted by French President Emmanuel Macron.

Group of Seven countries, commonly known as G7, had circled up for the summit hosted by French President in Biarritz, France where India, despite of having no membership in a summit, had been a special invitee and Prime minister Modi had visited France for the second consecutive time over a week ahead of having been invited by Emmanuel Macron to be a part of G7 summit.

Today, in the margins of the meet, Narendra Modi and US President Donald Trump had sat up to have bilateral talks where Narendra Modi had underlined that Kashmir issue will be resorted out only through bilateral and direct talks and dialogues between New Delhi and Islamabad. While echoing the stand of India, Modi had subsequently rejected and denied any of such hope and scopes of third party mediation between our bilateral issue and reiterated the stance of India that the two countries and its administrations will resolve the Kashmir issue bilaterally without troubling any third country.

Prime minister Modi had stated that there are various issues that have to be taken through bilateral talks with Pakistan and reaffirmed that India and Pakistan will collectively find the solutions on their bilateral issues without bothering or involving third countries. He further added that India and Pakistan were together before 1947 and he expressed his confident that the bilateral discussions and solutions can be figured out together with Pakistan.

Responding to his statements, United States President Donald Trump had composed different tone from his previous flopped tone of mediation, where his statement had revealed that the US President had seemingly admitted and agreed upon that the Kashmir issue would be resolved only through bilateral talks.

While addressing to the media, Trump frankly admitted that the two leaders had discussed about Kashmir last night and added that Prime minister Narendra Modi has real feeling that he has it under control and further expressed his hope that Pakistan will able to do something that will be very good for both the nations.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi also had said that he had spoken with his Pakistani counterpart when Imran Khan had assumed office and both of the rivals had discussed about countering poverty in the region and they collectively reaffirmed that both nations should fight strongly against poverty and together work for the well being of their respective people.

The eyes of International forum has been in Kashmir after Indian government announced its unilateral decision of abrogating and revoking the special status from the state of Jammu and Kashmir and bifurcating the state into two union territories which had erupted strong negative and opposing voice from Pakistan. However, India had denied the accusations from Pakistan by branding the move as internal matter vested with Indian constitution.
