Pushpa director to rope Prabhas in his next! Here's the deet you need to know...

Rajamouli's 'Baahubali' film series has catapulted Prabhas to superstardom in Indian cinema, and in a short span of time. Following the success of this film, he continued to specialise in making films that would be released across India. Recent rumours have it that the actor will be joining Sukumar, who has already proved popular with his film Pushpa.

The film's director, Prashant Neel (who also directed the massively successful KGF), cast Prabhas in the lead role. Now, several reports claim that Prabhas has approved Sukumar's next Pan India film, which will begin filming in 2024 after the release of Pushpa 2. The meeting happened very recently where Prabhas was enthusiastic about the proposal Sukumar made, and the director  is excited to work with Prabhas after he finishes filming the film starring Allu Arjun.

Director Vivek Agnihotri is expected to co-produce this expensive project with Abhishek Aggarwal, the man behind recent hits like The Kashmir Files and Karthikeya 2. The pairing of Prabhas and Sukumar has stoked fan anticipation. Sukumar, who directed the first film and is now helming the sequel, "Pushpa 2,". 

One year and one week ago, on December 17, 2016, Sukumar's action drama film "Pushpa: The Rise" opened in theatres. The film has received glowing reviews. In collaboration with Muttamsetty Media, it was produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar of Mythri Movie Makers. Meanwhile, in addition to his role as Raghava in Om Raut's mythological drama Adipurush, Prabhas has several other exciting projects in the works, including a film directed by Prashanth Neel titled Salaar, Nag Ashwin's Project K, and several others.
