The visuals from the development show that hundreds of members and his fans were thronged before his residence in Poes Garden, Chennai by holding his portraits and flags of the outfit.

They were raising slogans of welcoming the actor to the politics and taking over the reign. The reports say that the district secretaries were called through the phone and invited to attend the meeting. The meeting holds the magnitude of occupying the headlines that it has been keenly watched by the political leaders and parties over what he is going to decide about his political entry.

The actor has been strongly pressed by the members and fans to enter politics for many years and recently, their appeal has got stronger that they carried out the poster politics and urged the actor to enter politics by claiming that 'if not now, it will be never'. As the state has been fast-approaching for the next assembly polls, the expectations around the actor had grown stronger to unveil his political party during the upcoming assembly polls.

However, on the other side, the fans and members had seemingly braced up and mentally prepared to accept his decision from Monday's meeting whether or not he is entering politics. They said that they love him as the fans and not for the political career.

The members asserted to accept his decision and move on and they had pressed that he should lead the party if he announces his political entry on Monday and they won't accept and support the actor if he proposes someone to lead the party. The reports close to the developments say that Rajinikanth would be asking each and every secretary about launching the political party and he would be revolving around the on-ground situation and possibilities of the party if he launches amid the race for taking the reign in the state.

Two months back, there was a letter that circulated on social media that claimed to be the note of the actor that he wrote to his close circle. The letter has stated that the actor is considering not to launch the political party owing to his health condition and the COVID-19 outbreak. However, the actor then issued his official statement in which he clarified that the letter was not written by him and its not his statement and asserted that he will announce his political entry at the right time after consulting with the members of the outfit.

The reports say that the meeting also holds the limelight as it has been taking place a week after Union Home Minister Amit Shah has visited Chennai during which he discussed about Rajini's political entry with the RSS-BJP ideologue and about the possibilities of him supporting the BJP in Tamil Nadu. The reports close to the development say that Rajinikanth has decided to launch the political party in January next year.
