Rajinikanth backs CAA and NPR- Here's what he had to say!

For the first time after implementing the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and proposing to roll out the National Register of Citizens (NRC), and National Population Register (NPR), Actor and Political hopeful Rajinikanth has made his notion public on these policies of what the opposition parties criticized and agitated by stating that the BJP is upholding its Hindutva propaganda.

While addressing the reporters at his residence in Chennai, Rajinikanth said that NPR is important and it becomes essential and it was already done in 2010 and 2015 by the Central governments and its mandatory to take the survey on the population to identify and to ascertain the Indian nationalities and the nationalities of other countries living in India. By stating that the NRC is yet to be implemented, the Actor claimed that the Central BJP government had clearly ratified that the CAA is not against Indian people and it won't cause any issues. He said that its about providing citizenship for people who came to India after facing persecution in their countries.
