Relishing news for Vijay fans: Are these star actors of Beast and Vikram on board Thalapathy 67?

Vijay is currently in the outing with Tollywood director Vamshi Paidipally for the movie 'Varisu'. After this much-awaiting project, Vijay would join hands again with Lokesh Kanagaraj for the project that is tentatively named 'Thalapathy 67'.

As Varisu is pacing steadily to its target of hitting the big screens during the occasion of Pongal 2023, Thalapathy 67 is targeting to rope in some of the star actors who played crucial roles in the previous movies helmed by Lokesh. The behind-the-screen works for Thalapathy 67 are going on gradually and the official deets would come to light, probably after Lokesh fix the cast.

Speculations are doing rounds on social media with a slew of updates on the possible cast. Tweeple are unleashing their minds on how Lokesh's universe would look like in Thalapathy's world. In the midst of a such barrage of updates, there are some that appear to be true. According to the sources, Thalapathy 67 has roped in star actors who have acted in Beast and Vikram.

It has been reported that Malayalam actor Shine Tom Chacko, who shared the screen space with Vijay in Beast, has joined Thalapathy 67 and so does another Malayalam actor Fahadh Faasil, who acted in the movie Vikram. Both these Mollywood actors are going to play important roles in Thalapathy 67 and Lokesh is planning to expand his universe. Adding to this, another Malayalam actor Prithviraj Sukumaran is also in talks to get roped in for Thalapathy 67.

Several reports say that Thalapathy 67 will have three heroines and as per their predictions, actress Trisha will be the leading lady while Samantha will appear as a police officer. Another actress would be Keerthy Suresh, which will mark her third collaboration with Vijay after Bhairavaa and Sarkar. In Thalapathy 67, Vijay will most likely play a role of a 50-year-old gangster who will be locking horns with six villains.

Vijay's current project Varisu is bankrolled by Dil Raju under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations. While Vijay plays the lead role, Rashmika Mandanna will be playing the female lead and Prakash Raj, Sarathkumar, Shaam, Yogi Babu, Prabhu, Jayasudha, Srikanth, Khushbu and Ganesh Venkatraman will be playing crucial roles. Thaman is composing the music and the movie is scheduled to be released in theatres in January 2023 during the Pongal festival.
