Riveting update...Is RRR going to get a sequel? A big announcement from Rajamouli!

Magnificent director SS Rajamouli, known for helming Baahubali and RRR, has made a big announcement that his last project RRR 2 is coming. The thunderous blockbuster, which has been making waves across the country since its theatrical release, has now created viral talk after the video of the director spilling the update, which is making rounds online. 

The big hit made around Rs 1200 crores at the box office from its theatrical run and it starred Jr NTR, Ram Charan, and Alia Bhatt in leading roles. The biggest update came the way after a screening event in Chicago where SS Rajamouli confirmed RRR 2. He said, "I would absolutely love to. I can’t reveal many details about it but my father, who has been a screenwriter for all my films including RRR…We discussed a bit about it, and he is working on the story". 

RRR revolves around two real-life Indian revolutionaries, Alluri Sitarama Raju (Ram Charan) and Komaram Bheem (Junior NTR), along with Hollywood ensembles in the movie as well. Ajay Devgan, Samuthirakani, and Shreya Saran have cameo appearances. RRR, the most expensive Indian movie to date, cost 550 crore rupees ($72 million). 

The story, which takes place in the 1920s, focuses on the unrecorded period of their lives when both revolutionaries decided to live quiet lives before waging war for their nation. M. M. Keeravani composed the soundtrack and background music for the movie, which was cinematographed by K. K. Senthil Kumar and edited by A. Sreekar Prasad. The production designer for the movie is Sabu Cyril, and V. Srinivas Mohan oversaw the visual effects. RRR was produced by DVV Danayya under his banner DVV Entertainment.
