'Is Samuthirakani a boring adviser'? Adutha Saattai review!

Crime Thriller, Black comedy, and Romantic comedy are some of the leading genres in movies of all languages and in line with that, Tamil Cinema has been carving the name of the new, unique genre from Samuthirakani in recent years as he has been cementing his path in Tamil movie industry by creating impact through his stories. By capturing all the good stuff, and by arresting and blaming the futile and ill-full stuff, by watering hope for the people of void backgrounds, by packing the scenes with his advises, his movies have been presenting the audiences with stories of sane, vision, societal and audience-friendly that had kept him, branded him as an actor with more matured and enhanced vision towards his career and his community, particularly the younger generation.

By cooking the same recipes frequently could certainly be bored even for the recipes and although his movies carry extreme advice that was seen and heard before, he has once again proved that he won't be stopped from his unique path through his recent movie 'Adutha Saatai'. In the first part of 'Saatai', the movie director Anbazhagan had touched down the corridors of government school and its education where he had spoken about flaws, defects, weights of the school, the inner politics of the teachers, the prevailing disorder and disharmony among the students, their hidden talents, the reformations of the newly inducted teacher of the school, the success attained through the unity and efforts of the students and 'Adutha Saatai' adds continuation for its first part, but this one replaced the school with 'Arts and Science college'.

The director certainly deserves tons of applauds for pitching in with this social connect and the responsible movie with the already used template of 'Saatai' as this movie travels with the yester faced and currently facing issues from Jallikattu, Pollachi issue, caste discrimination along with a much responsible and student-centric professor and the batch of students who wish to give their lives for the professor.

By coming through the positivity and advises in all of the scenes, we can understand that the director seemed to have written the script full of energy...The professor - Samuthirakani had shown that he was the oxygen of advice and positivity that if we pulled into the movie, he could have given his advice for us too...If the movie has been packed with sane and good stories, it won't get branded as a good movie and the ultimate strength for the movie is the story has been scripted with the stuff we can connect ourselves and the stuff that we have been coming through.

While the movie has been packed with the positivity and advice, the comedic and villainous acts of Thambi Ramaiah have connected the audience to the movie. Ramaiah had sticked to the character and done justice for his role after a long interval. Samuthirakani has again registered himself as good as he was in our minds and he has seemingly pictured not as an actress guy as he attempted for romance with the actress...Our request to him is, he can avoid the mandate to script the romance scenes that has neither worked nor will work in his movie.

test

The whole movie travels inside the premises of the college that somehow dulled the screenplay and the story lapsed and deterred from dicking out the real face of caste discrimination prevailing in the higher educational institutions. Most of the arts and science colleges in Tamil Nadu certainly have caste as its practice and if the director lived to capture the real words of caste, real dominance, the story could have lived close to the audience.

The music of Justin Prabhakaran has done justice to 'Vegadha Veyilula' song as the rest of the songs just pass by...The cameras of Rasamathi have balanced the movie while Nirmal has done crisp editing. 'Adutha Saatai' - even though it's not like the first part, it can be watched and for the audience who love to rent their ears for advice and for the people who have been admired by 'Samuthirakani's genre', it's a must-watch movie and Samuthirakani may sound like a boring adviser, but his advice has a sane, positivity and a vision behind it.
