Shocker in Chennai: Check what a 22-year-old woman faced after ending her relationship!

In a shocking development, a 22-year-old woman, who is a software engineer in Chennai, was stabbed outside her house by a man named Sudhakar for ending her relationship with him. The incident had happened on Thursday and after it came to light, the Puzhal police department has booked the suspect under the appropriate grounds and issued a lookout notice to nab the suspect, as Sudhakar has got absconded. 

According to reports, Sudhakar and the victim had been in a relationship since their school days. While Sudhakar ran a mobile recharge shop, the woman has got a job in a software company in the city. Their relationship soured after the techie observed that Sudhakar isn't with good behavior and she also had disliked the people whom Sudhakar observed friendship. Following that, the techie had reportedly avoided meeting Sudhakar and attending his phone calls. 

Their relationship further soured last month after which Sudhakar developed enmity and angry over the techie for avoiding and rejecting him. Sudhakar reportedly began to stalk and harass her. He continued his play of harassment despite the techie had warned him multiple times that she would file a police complaint against him. However, as she refused to keep the relationship with him, the reports say that Sudhakar had decided to throw his vengeance on her. 

Sudhakar has on Thursday gone to the techie's house, which is in Puthagaram in the outskirts of Chennai at around 5 am. He created a fracas before her residence asking her to come out to meet him. The techie then decided to come out and hopped out of the residence. As soon as she stepped out of her residence, Sudhakar had stabbed her in her stomach and left her to sustain brutal injuries. He left her bleeding inside the bathroom before fleeing the spot. 

The techie has screamed with the pain following which her mother came out and was shocked to see her daughter is bleeding. When her mother searched the suspect, Sudhakar was nowhere to be found. The techie was rushed to the Stanley Government Hospital for further treatment and the incident was reported to the Puzhal police department. 

The police launched a probe and initiated the measures to arrest Sudhakar. While the lookout notice has been issued, the police have filed FIR against Sudhakar under sections 294(b) - sings or utters any obscenities in a public place, 307- attempt to murder, 334- voluntarily causes hurt on grave and sudden provocation, 447 - criminal trespass, and 448- house-trespass of the Indian Penal Code. According to a news agency, the police had said that a manhunt to arrest the suspect has been underway and a detailed probe will be conducted after the arrest of the accused.
