Shocker from UP: How CM Yogi Adityanath was threatened by a 16-year-old boy?

The Uttar Police Department has arrested a 16-year-old boy in Agra for sending a threatening message to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on social media. 

According to the police, the teenager had sent a message threatening the Chief Minister on the WhatsApp number of the 112 emergency service of the police department on Sunday following which an FIR was registered at the Sushant Golf City police station. The Assistant Commissioner of Gosaiganj said that the teenager had threatened to blow up the Chief Minister. 

The police said that the reason behind why he threatened the Chief Minister is yet to be known. When the police had received the threatening message, a case was filed on various charges including criminal intimidation. 

The police had launched the probe and traced the message to the teenager in Agra with assistance from the cyber teams and its surveillance. 

The police had recovered the mobile phone and SIM card used for the threat and the boy was arrested by the police. A police officer said that the boy was brought to Lucknow from Agra and he was later produced before the Juvenile Justice Board following which the boy was sent to a juvenile home.
