In what has become a shocking piece of news that showcased the prevalence of awful behaviour among some school students, a government school in Tamil Nadu had dismissed three students who were attached to Class 9 after they had made fun of a teacher, who is visually impaired, in the classroom. The development has come after a video had gone viral on social media in which these three students can be seen making fun in front of the teacher, under the guise that he is visually impaired and can't able to see their atrocities. 

According to reports, the incident had happened on October 1 at the Puduchatram higher secondary school in the Namakkal district. Three students who were studying Class 9 had indulged in the acts of making fun of a visually impaired teacher, who teaches history, in the classroom. These three students were seen dancing in the middle of the class when the teacher continued his class. The trio had gone to walk around the teacher to make fun of his visual disorder. 

However, as the teacher realized nothing of what's happening around him, he continued his class and the trio had continued making fun of him. They went to shot videos of their awful acts and that video had done rounds on social media and had become a proof of taking action against them. The visually impaired teacher was later informed that he was made fun of by three students in the classroom, he brought it to the attention of the headmaster and the Parents Teachers Association (PTA) members. 

The headmaster had discussed the matter with the PTA members and after the discussion, the school management had decided to dismiss the three students for their awful behaviour. The school authorities had called the three students and issued transfer certificates to them. As the video had gone viral, it had brought disrepute to the school and action was taken against the trio to curb such behaviours and treatments given to the teachers and other staff members who are suffering from a disorder. 

Though the school had issued transfer certificates to the three students, the school management had also taken steps to admit them to other government schools in the neighbourhood. While speaking to the reporters, the District Education Officer of Namakkal has said that the school authorities were shocked after watching the video and had decided to issue transfer certificates to the three students and added that it was very unfortunate that the students behaved in such a manner.
