Shocker in TN: A woman police officer was killed by her husband! Police reveal what's the dispute

In a shocking piece of news, a woman police officer in Tamil Nadu was strangled and murdered by her husband in the Virudhunagar district. The local police department had arrested her husband and he was taken under custody for further investigations. 

According to reports, the incident had happened on Friday night. The deceased woman police officer was at her 30 and was working at the Virudhunagar west police station. She got married to 35-year-old Vignesh six years ago. They lived in Kulakarai and Vignesh was working as a government bus conductor and the couple have a four-year-old son and a two-year-old daughter.

The couple had developed an argument on Friday night and as the dispute had grown, Vignesh had killed his wife by strangling her neck with his belt. After learning about the incident, the police officials from the Soolakarai police department had rushed to the spot and recovered the body of the deceased cop. It was then sent to the Virudhunagar government hospital for an autopsy and later arrested the husband of the woman cop. 

Soolakarai police inspector Karthika has revealed that the couple had observed a dispute over several issues. Her husband wanted to relocate to Madurai. However, the woman police officer was against it as she was working in the Virudhunagar station. They had argued against each other on Friday regarding the issue of relocating and the quarrel had grown following which Vignesh had strangled his wife and killed her.

According to reports, as the couple had been married for less than seven years, a revenue divisional officer has launched a probe into the death to ascertain if there was any ground of dowry harassment from her husband. The police had booked a case against Vignesh under murder charges and were in the process of taking him under judicial custody.
