Shocking! Ajith fan loses his life during Thunivu release celebrations

When Vijay's Varisu premiered at 4 a.m., the curtain had just gone up on the Ajith film at 1 a.m. Fans from all over are getting the party started with a bang. A tragic turn of events occurred when a moviegoer at the Rohini theatre in Chennai tragically passed away while having his fan moment. The tragic incident shook the entire town to the core.

According to ANI, he fell down on the Poonamallee highway near the Rohini Theatre in Chennai. "Bharath Kumar, a fan of actor Ajith Kumar, who jumped in excitement from a slow-moving lorry succumbed to injuries on Poonamallee highways near Rohini theatre, Chennai. Case registered. He had come to watch Thunivu film's 1 am show at the theater: Police officials," news agency ANI reported on Wednesday.

As per reports, he lost balance and fell down from a truck while dancing ahead of the first show of the film. He sustained severe back bone injury and rushed to hospital but it was too late to be saved. A case has been registered and further investigation is on, police officials said.

Meanwhile, in another incident, Ajith fans who saw "Thunivu" at a Rohini theatre in Chennai allegedly demolishes a banner for Vijay's "Varisu" that had been displayed outside the theatre. Angering Vijay fans, they also tore down most of the 'Thunivu' banners that had been displayed outside the theatre for Ajith. The situation escalated to the point where police had to lathi-charge the Vijay and Ajith fans in order to restore order, and several fans were severely beaten in the process.
