Shocking! Malayalam Actress Renjusha Menon ends her life at 35

Renjusha Menon, a popular Malayalam actress and producer, was found dead in her flat in Karyam,  Thiruvananthapuram on Monday morning. The 35-year-old actress was discovered hanging from the ceiling fan in her flat, where she lived with her husband, who is also an actor. Police officials are currently investigating the incident as a possible case of suicide, believed to be linked to financial difficulties.

Renjusha, who hails from Kochi, started her career as a TV anchor and later moved to acting in serials and films. She made her debut with the serial ‘Sthree’ and went on to act in several projects, both as a lead and a supporting actor, and she first appeared in the TV show program Sensation. She also acted in several serials like Nizhalattam, Magalude Amma, Balamani and appeared in films like Thalappavu, Bombay March 12, Lizammayude Veedu, City of God, and others.

However, sources say that she was facing a lot of financial problems in the industry. She was also reportedly depressed and isolated from her friends and family. Her last post on social media, dated October 16, read, “Sleep is my only comfort, then I’m not sad, not angry, I’m not alone, I’m nothing.”

The police have registered a case of unnatural death and are investigating the matter. They have seized her mobile phone and laptop for further clues. Her body has been sent for post-mortem examination. Renjusha’s death has shocked the Malayalam film fraternity and her fans, who have expressed their condolences and grief on social media. Many have also raised questions about the mental health and well-being of actors in the industry.
