In a shocking piece of news, a 15-year-old boy in Tamil Nadu has died after drowning in the sea when he was taking bath with his friends to celebrate the end of Class 10 board exams. 

The incident has happened near Mahabalipuram. 15-year-old Panneerselvam was studying Class 10 at a school in Payanur near Mahabalipuram. On Monday, Panneerselvam had gone to the sea along with his friends to celebrate the end of Class 10 board exams. 

When they were bathing and playing in the sea, a huge tide engulfed Panneerselvam and when his friends tried to save him, they couldn't and he was whirled into the tide. The friends had then informed the police following which the fire and rescue team had rushed to the spot and launched an operation to find him.
