Siddharth starrer Chiththa to debut on OTT soon! Here's when and where to watch the hard hitting drama...

Chiththa, the latest Tamil film to hit OTT platform, is a gripping and poignant story that explores the dark and disturbing reality of child abuse. Directed by SU Arunkumar, the film stars Siddharth and Nimisha Sajayan as the main leads, who cope with their present challenges they didn't expect of in the name of child abuse.

According to latest reports, Chiththa will be streaming on Disney+ Hotstar from November 17. The film also features an ensemble cast of talented actors such as Nassar, Kalaiyarasan, and Gouri Kishan. Chiththa is not a film for the faint-hearted. It exposes the harsh realities of child abuse and its impact on the victims and their families. The film also raises important questions about the role of the law, the society, and the religion in dealing with such crimes.

'Chithha' is a film that explores the dynamics of a Chithappa-nephew relationship, and how it changes over time. The movie is about a man who is trying to raise his niece alone like a daughter but his world turns upside down when the girl goes missing.

The film was produced by Siddharth under his banner, Etaki Entertainment. The director is known for Pannaiyarum Padminiyum, Sethupathi and Sindhubaadh. The music is composed by Dhibu Ninan Thomas, where the cinematography of the film was by Balaji Subramanyam, and the editing was handled by Suresh A. Prasad.

It's interesting to note that this film drew inspiration from a Malayalam short film called "Based on a True Story" (2017), written, directed, and produced by Rajesh Ambattu. The short film had a similar plotline and story as this film and was released on YouTube in 2017.

The film is a powerful and emotional drama that will leave  shaken and moved. The performances of the lead actors are commendable and realistic.
