Simbu's Pathu Thala update...The actor shares the wrap-up picture!

Kollywood director Obeli N Krishna, who is known for helming the movies 'Siliunu Oru Kadhal' and 'Nedunjaalai', is currently in outing with actor Simbu for the movie 'Pathu Thala'. As the movie's shooting has completed recently, Simbu shared exclusive pictures from the shooting sets after the wrap-up. 

Pathu Thala is a tamil remake of the 2017 Kannada film 'Mufti', The original starred Shivarajkumar and Sriimurali as the lead. In the Tamil version, Simbu is reprising Shivarajkumar's role. He is essaying the role of gangster named AGR in the film. Simbu shared the photos on social media on Wednesday and wrote, "Finally It’s a wrap for #PathuThala … Cant wait for you all to witness #AGR … Thanks to my whole team for all the support and love :) " The picture is currently trending to the heights among the fans.

While AR Rahman is composing music for Pathu Thala, Praveen KL is handling the editing and Farook Basha is taking care of cinematography. Bankrolled by Jayantilal Gada and KE Gnanavelraja, Pathu Thala also stars Priya Bhavani Shankar, Gautham Karthik, Kalaiyarasan, Umesh Kaushik, and Sundararajan in lead roles. 

The plot of the original flick 'Mufti' centres on Gana, a police officer who must undertake a covert operation to track down and eliminate the crime lord Bhairathi Ranagal. Simbu's most recent collaboration with Gautham Menon, Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu, was met with glowing reviews, and Simbu just recently disclosed that he is going to direct a new film after his first debut directorial, Vallavan.

The actor is also going to work on a film with A. R. Murugadoss, and the most recent speculating report suggested that he will be playing a superhero role in the film. However, official confirmation from the makers side has not yet been made.
