Singapore Saloon: RJ Balaji’s hilarious hair-raising adventure to hit screens on this date

RJ Balaji, the popular RJ turned actor and director, is all set to tickle funny bones with his latest film ‘Singapore Saloon’. The film, directed by Gokul, is a comedy caper that revolves around a barber shop in Singapore and the misadventures of its quirky staff and customers.

The film boasts a stellar cast that includes veteran actors Sathyaraj and Lal, comedy king Robo Shankar, and debutantes Meenakshi Chaudhary and Kishen Das. The film also has a special appearance by none other than Lokesh Kanagaraj, the acclaimed director of ‘Leo’ and ‘Vikram’. 

The film's plot around, the lead who plays a young hairstylist who has a lot of dreams. Makers took to X, and wrote, "Bringing unlimited chaos, laughter and whole lot of entertainment. #SingaporeSaloon releasing in cinemas near you on January 25th".

‘Singapore Saloon’ is slated to release on January 25, coinciding with the Republic Day weekend. The film will face tough competition from Vikram’s action thriller ‘Thangalaan’, which is also releasing on the same day.  However, the makers of ‘Singapore Saloon’ are confident that their film will win fans' hearts with its unique concept, hilarious dialogues, and catchy songs.

RJ Balaji, who was last seen in the hit film ‘Run Baby Run’.  The film is produced by Ishari K. Ganeshan, with K. Ashwin Kumar as the executive producer's Vels International.   The music is composed by Vivek Mervin, while the cinematography is done by M. Sukumar. The film is edited by Selva Rk.
