SK21: "Hearts on Fire"... Makers drop the most awaited update for the upcoming Sivakarthikeyan starrer

Sivakarthikeyan who has won the hearts of millions with his comedy, romance, and action roles, is all set to surprise his fans with his next film, which is tentatively titled SK 21. The film, which is expected to release later this year, will see him playing a military officer for the first time in his career. 

The makers of the film have released a video today, giving a glimpse of Sivakarthikeyan’s preparation for the role, wrote, "Hard work-grit and a “can- do” mentality still matters-a great asset now on display…#HeartsonFire #SK21 Title Teaser on 16th Feb at 5pm". The video shows the actor undergoing rigorous training, both physical and mental, to get into the skin of a soldier.

He is seen lifting weights, doing push-ups, running, shooting, and saluting, among other activities. The video also reveals his stunning look, with a toned body, a sharp haircut, and a uniform. The video has created a huge buzz among the fans, who are eagerly waiting for the film’s title teaser, which will be unveiled on February 16th at 5 PM, coinciding with the actor’s birthday eve.

The film is directed by Rajkumar Periyasamy, who made an impressive debut with the crime thriller Rangoon. The film is produced by Raaj Kamal Films and Sony Pictures, and has Sai Pallavi and Rahul Bose in the main roles.

The film is based on the non-fiction book India’s Most Fearless: True Stories Of Modern Military Heroes, written by journalists Shiv Aroor and Rahul Singh. The book narrates the heroic deeds of Indian soldiers who fought valiantly in some of the most challenging operations and missions in our nation’s history. The film is expected to be a tribute to the brave men and women of the Indian armed forces, who sacrifice their lives for the country.
