Google Maps has been enhancing with new features every year like offering advice about when to change lanes, rerouting to avoid traffic that would bring us more closer and more connected and for its 15th birthday, the app adds new insights to the map including Temperature, Safety, and Accessibility on Public transport. It also provides insights on designated carriages in public transport for women and the security insights including the presence of a security guard, installed security cameras, and available helpline numbers. The reports say that the Silicon Valley giant has gained more inspiration from India towards designing multiple features for Google maps. For example, Google Maps now provides information about public toilets in a particular location and this feature was inspired by the Swachh Bharat Mission. The reports have stated that these insights would be programmed in the application in March.

The World still has miles to go so is Google Maps. Let's take a moment to wish a happy birthday for our technological friend who has been living for us the whole day and the whole year, bringing the world closer like never before.
