Suriya 43 Buzz: Sudha Kongara's next to rope this Bollywood's popular villain!

Suriya, the superstar of Tamil cinema, is all set to make his comeback with a bang. The actor, who has been enthralled his fans with his surprise appearance as Rolex in Lokesh Kanagaraj's Vikram, is reportedly working on his next big project, Suriya 43. The movie is directed by Sudha Kongara, who has previously helmed Soorarai Potru, which won National award.

According to rumor mill, Dulquer Salmaan will play Suriya’s brother in the movie, while Vijay Varma will essay the role of the antagonist. Vijay Varma is known for his versatile performances in films like Pink, Darlings and Lust Stories 2. He will be seen in a different avatar in Suriya 43. The music is composed by GV Prakash, who has also worked in Soorarai Potru, and he will be scoring his 100th film as a composer.

Another actress who has been approached for the female lead is Nazriya Nazim. If this becomes true, this will be the first collaboration with Suriya and also a big comeback to Tamil, as she last did a Tamil film was Vaayi Moodi Pesavum in 2018. And it will also mark her reunion with Dulquer Salmaan. However, her casting is not confirmed yet.

Another source also revealed that Aditi who is the daughter of ace filmmaker Shankar, has also to join the cast. She already impressed the audience with her debut film Viruman opposite Karthi. Now, she has bagged the opportunity to work with Karthi’s elder brother Suriya.

Sudha Kongara, who is known for her realistic and engaging storytelling, has reportedly said that Suriya 43 is the most passionate film of her career and Suriya is also very excited about it.  Suriya 43 is expected to go on floors in October this year and will be produced by 2D Entertainment.

Suriya is currently busy with his other films such as Kanguva with director Siruthai Siva and Vaadivaasal with director Vetrimaaran. He has also confirmed that he will be working with director Lokesh Kanagaraj in two back-to-back projects:
