Suriya 43: A star-studded biggie of Sudha Kongara unveils its intriguing title and cast

In an exciting revelation that has sent ripples of anticipation throughout the entertainment town, the official title promo of an upcoming film was unveiled today, unveiling a star-studded cast that promises a another hit from the Soorarai Potru director.

Produced by Suriya's esteemed 2D Entertainment in collaboration with Meenakshi Cinemas, the film boasts a musical masterpiece by the renowned GV Prakash, marking his remarkable 100th venture as a music composer.

What adds to the intrigue of this production is the ensemble of talent it has managed to bring together. Joining the ranks of this much-awaited project are Malayalam sensation Dulquer Salmaan, the talented Nazriya Fahadh, and the versatile Vijay Varma. This casting coup has further heightened the buzz around the film, leaving fans eagerly awaiting its release.

Tentatively titled 'Suriya 43', the movie is set to be a period gangster drama, drawing inspiration from real-life events. A unique aspect that has piqued curiosity is the revelation of the title's last part, 'Purananooru', derived from a classical Tamil poetic work. This choice, steeped in tradition, adds an intriguing layer to the film, hinting at a depth of narrative and cultural richness.

The film is set to be helmed by the talented Sudha Kongara, whose directorial finesse has been previously showcased in critically acclaimed projects as her last venture, Soorarai Potru won National award, which also starred Suriya and composed by GV Prakash.  The makers have teased viewers with the tagline, "Rustic.
